Viper Anchor Winch Wireless Remote Control & Receiver
Take control of your anchor winch from anywhere aboard your boat with the Viper Anchor Winch Wireless Remote Control & Receiver Kit.
Designed to provide convenient wireless operation of your electric anchor winch, this compact remote-control system allows you to deploy and retrieve your anchor without being restricted to a permanently mounted helm or deck switch.
With an operating range of up to 30 metres, the Viper wireless remote gives the skipper greater freedom to move around the boat while controlling the anchor winch – particularly useful when checking anchor position, watching the rode, operating from the bow or managing anchoring when boating short-handed.
Although ideal for Viper Pro Series anchor winches, the system is designed for use with all makes and models of suitably configured anchor winches.

Control Your Anchor Winch from Anywhere on the Boat
A conventional electric anchor winch is normally operated from a permanently installed switch.
While this works well, it means the operator needs to remain close to that control whenever the anchor is being raised or lowered.
The Viper wireless remote removes this restriction.
With a stated operating range of up to 30 metres, you can operate a compatible anchor winch while moving to a more useful position aboard the boat.
Depending on your boat layout, this could include:
-
At the helm
-
At the bow
-
At the stern
-
On the flybridge
-
Beside the anchor well
-
At another suitable position with a clear view of the anchoring operation
This flexibility can make anchoring considerably more convenient.
Up to 30 Metre Wireless Range
The Viper wireless remote system provides a stated operating range of up to 30 metres.
For most recreational boats, this provides ample range to operate the anchor winch from different locations aboard the vessel.
Actual wireless performance can vary depending on installation, boat construction, interference and receiver location.
Anchor Up & Down from the Handheld Remote
The wireless remote provides control over the normal powered operation of a compatible anchor winch system.
This allows the operator to remotely control anchor deployment and retrieval rather than returning to a fixed switch each time the winch needs to be operated.
That can be especially convenient when repeatedly adjusting the boat's anchoring position.
Particularly Useful for Short-Handed Boating
Wireless anchor control can be especially useful when boating alone or with a small crew.
A skipper may need to:
-
Monitor the anchor as it approaches the bow
-
Check how the rope or chain is feeding
-
Watch the anchor well
-
Move between helm and bow
-
Check the boat's position
-
Manage other anchoring tasks
Being able to take the anchor-winch control with you provides considerably greater flexibility than relying solely on a fixed switch.
