As the use of alloy boats becomes more common, installing stainless-steel winches can pose a serious risk due to electrolysis, which can corrode metal fittings and damage electronics when stainless components contact the aluminium hull. The Viper Aluminium Boat Fit Kit solves this by providing all necessary insulation components to safely fit Viper winches on alloy vessels.

Included in the kit:

  • Two HD plastic sandwich plates to isolate the winch from the mounting surface

  • Insulation spacers for each bolt to prevent metal-to-metal contact

  • Anchor roller insulation

  • A dedicated aluminium switch face plate to match alloy panels while providing electrical isolation

Available for both the ‘Micro’ winch series and ‘Rapid 1000’ variant, the kit ensures corrosion protection and electrical safety.
