Marine Protection Systems Stainless Steel Shaft Grounding Strap
The MPS Stainless Steel Shaft Grounding Strap is a robust device designed to electrically bond your vessel’s driveshaft(s) to its bonding system, significantly reducing shaft, propeller, and stern tube corrosion. Unlike carbon brushes, it maintains a wide and consistent contact with over half the shaft's circumference at all times, preventing glazing or loss of contact. Built with tinned copper braid, a 316‐marine-grade stainless steel pivot arm & mount, and a flexible mounting system, it works well on shafts between 1-4 inches (for the recreational model, SS07). Barton Marine NZ stocks this premium electrolysis protection gear and provides expertise and NZ-wide shipping.
