Ronstan Series 120 Top-Down Continuous Line Furler
Effortlessly furl soft‑luff sails like gennakers and asymmetrics with the Ronstan Series 120 Top‑Down Furler—fast, safe, and cockpit‑operable.
The Ronstan Series 120 Top‑Down Furler revolutionises soft‑luff sail handling—like asymmetric spinnakers and gennakers—for both cruising and racing yachts. Built to streamline sail deployment and retrieval from the safety of the cockpit, this continuous‑line system increases simplicity, safety, and speed on the water.
Its advanced drum technology, matching spool diameter with load ratings, ensures optimal furling performance. The machined groove profile and cross‑hole geometry securely grip the furling line, while deployment benefits from smooth self‑ejection and minimal rope wear. A PTFE perimeter strip prevents rope snags and drop-outs.
Maintenance is effortless—featuring factory‑sealed roller bearings on hardened races, sealed for long-term use in marine conditions. Installing or removing the continuous furling line is quick, tooling-free, and compatible with deck stowage.
Attachment versatility includes retained clevis pins, low‑profile snag‑free shackles, quick‑release options, and 0° or 90° adjustable furling line guides—making deck layout integration seamless.
The furler supports loads up to 900kg on the swivel ring (tack load) and 1,800kg via clevis pins (torsion line + tack load), with a breaking load of 3,600kg.
Ronstan offers a full accessory suite, including top swivels, snap shackles, 2:1 fairleads, thimbles, and rotation stops to suit diverse setups and ensure polished performance and reliability
