G/flex 650 is a toughened, versatile, liquid epoxy for permanent waterproof bonding.
G/flex is ideal for bonding a variety of materials, including dissimilar ones. It has has a superior grip so that it can be used to bond to metals, plastics, glass, masonry, and fiberglass. This epoxy is ideal for repairs to aluminum boats and polyethylene and ABS canoes and kayaks. It can also be used to wet out and bond fiberglass tapes and fabrics.
Mixed at a 1:1 ratio, this 2-part epoxy gives you 46 minutes of pot life at 22°C and an open (working) time of 60-75 minutes. It reaches an initial cure in 3 to 4 hrs and a workable cure in 7-10 hours.
The 650-8 contains 4 fl. oz. G/flex 650 resin, 4 fl. oz. G/flex 650 hardener (8 fl. oz. mixed epoxy)
